Hillcrest High School

Hillcrest High School have created two new multi-functional outdoor areas at the school, these areas would become wet and unusable after rainfall, and reduce the amount of space the pupils had outdoors.

By removing the existing topsoil and replacing with our Natural 35 landscaping turf, we have increased the space and usability of the area – making it functional for the majority of the year – even in winter.  After the soil is removed, we lay and compact 100mm of basecourse under our artificial turf –  this results in water penetrating through the surface and down into the basecourse where it finally moves away though the underlying soil. No mud, no mess bought back into the classroom.
