How do we use cookies?

This Cookie Notice sets out how Teamturf and its subsidiaries (“Team Turf” or “we”) make use of cookies (or similar technologies).

The term ‘cookies’ is often used as a collective term for various types of techniques, such as HTML cookies, scripts, web beacons or pixel tags. With each of these techniques, a small text file is placed by a web server on a visiting device. For the sake of convenience, these techniques are hereinafter collectively referred to as “cookies”. Cookies are used, among other things, to provide security for a website, to store settings, to log in to a website, to analyse how a website is used and to adjust the content of a website for the user.

What types of cookies we use?

We use the following categories of cookies:

Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential to enable you to move around our websites and use their features, such as accessing secure areas of a website. Without these cookies, some services you have asked for cannot be provided. Functionality Cookies
Functionality cookies remember login details and preferences and recall your language preferences where applicable. These are used to provide you with a more tailored and pleasant experience.

Advertising & Social Media cookies
These cookies collect information about your browsing habits in order to make advertising more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advert as well as to help measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. These cookies are usually placed by third party advertising networks. They remember the websites you visit and that information is shared with other parties such as advertisers. For example, we may use third party companies to provide you with personalised adverts when visiting other websites. Further to the above, social media platforms can use cookies to see if you are logged in and if you are enabled to “like” content or forward it to your contacts. Depending on your settings, these third parties may use your information for their own purposes, such as advertising. If you would like to know more about this, please refer to the privacy notice of these external parties.
