Join the Team

This role is responsible for the installation of artificial turf and shockpad for our commercial, school and playground markets. You will be managing the team of installers on-site. You will need to project manage, problem solve, and lead by example. This is a hands on role.

You will have a strong work ethic and focus on health & safety of yourself and the team. Your measures of success include meeting deadlines with quality installations.A significant focus must be placed upon keeping an extremely high standard of work and efficient work methods to maintain high productivity.

This role includes meeting agreed deadlines and ability to cope with high stress at peak times. It requires physical fitness and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

The pay rate depends on the skills and experience of the applicant – we will pay an experienced installer well. Alternatively, there is the opportunity to increase your wage very quickly depending on how fast you can develop, or have the following skills:

• ability to cut using a stanley knife quickly and efficiently
• ability to lift heavy goods
• reliability is essential
• a good work ethic is essential
• practical and rational thinking is essential
• on the odd occasion be willing to travel out of Auckland

Day to day duties includes:

• Understanding and setting out turf measurements on-site
• Rolling and positioning turf in place
• Cutting and gluing all joins and line markings
• Using machinery to apply sand to the turf
