This 11,000m² facility has transformed Memorial Park into Wellington’s new football hub, providing Capital Football with a fantastic all weather surface and training area for all the local clubs. Construction commenced in October 2012 and the final installation of the turf was completed in April 2013.

Hutt City Council in conjunction with NZ Football and Capital Football contracted TEAM Sports Surfaces to build the new facility and install the new Hybrid 60 synthetic turf surface with 23mm underlying shockpad. This is the ultimate new generation football surface that the local Wellington clubs are now enjoying.
