The Wetpour Installation Process
Teamturf wetpour is a labour intensive and time consuming process, but the end results can be absolutely stunning!
The rubber is laid on site by our experienced installation team, the installation is a real art requiring fine weather and highly skilled technicians. The process starts by mixing coloured rubber granules and the correct weight of polyurethane binder, once thoroughly mixed the rubber/polyurethane mix is then raked into place followed by screeding and a final smooth trowel.
There are two layers to the playground surface, one is the underlying recycled rubber impact layer and the second is the top EPDM coloured rubber layer. The final surface provides a colourful surfacing solution for mounds, surrounding spinning carousel equipment and all high wear areas.
