A decade-long relationship with Belmont Park Racquets Club continues with three new Challenge artificial turf tennis courts.

Teamturf first installed Belmont Park Racquets Club’s artificial turf tennis courts in2015. Almost a decade later, the club came back to Teamturf to deliver its latest court development — three new tennis courts that bring the club’s total to10 Challenge courts.

The project involved transforming an existing bowling green into a new three-court tennis facility, increasing capacity for one of Auckland’s busy tennis clubs.

From bowling green to three new tennis courts

The 1,500m² development was a complete court construction project, including:

• Three new Challenge artificial turf tennis courts
• New concrete base
• New drainage
• New fencing
• New court lighting
• Conversion of the existing bowling green

Creating the courts on the existing bowling green allowed Belmont Park Racquets to make better use of its available space while significantly increasing its playing capacity.

More courts for a growing tennis programme

Belmont Park has48 interclub teams competing in the Tennis Northern competition, creating a significant demand for court availability.

The three new courts give the club additional capacity to accommodate its teams, competitions and ongoing tennis programme.

For Teamturf, the project also represents the continuation of a long-standing relationship. Having installed the club’s original courts in 2015, we were pleased to be invited back to deliver the next stage of Belmont Park’s tennis facility.
