Hamilton Gardens

Hamilton Gardens is a must visit for tourists visiting the Hamilton region and they now have a fantastic new playground and play area for the kids. Teamturf were engaged early in the design phase of this play area working with landscape architects and project managers, our goal was to deliver a unique offering that complimented the existing design features at the Hamilton Gardens. Our range of products were used in four different areas including the stage, maze, playground surfacing and the ‘secret garden’.

The standout feature of our work here is without doubt the maze. The design was exceptionally challenging for our large rolls with 90 degree turns at the corners and two different colours, the end result looks amazing! The playground safety surfacing under the new equipment and trees includes our recycled 35mm Proplay shockpad and Ivory Spine turf along with our specialty mounded area leading up to the slide. The secret garden uses one of our popular 35mm landscaping surfaces- Esteem. Make sure you drop in for a visit next time you’re in the Waikato region!
